The short version

North Fayette is a township on the county's western edge. It covers 27 square miles, all land, with parts of Enlow, Imperial, Noblestown and Sturgeon inside it1. Our directory lists 64 places to eat and drink within its boundary, 10th among municipalities outside the city23.

At about 2 listings per square mile, it is one of the most spread out food towns in this series. 45% of listings are independent2.

Where the listings are

Steubenville Pike has 12 listings, McHolme Drive has 9 and Andrew Drive has 52. The Pointe at North Fayette is a stretch of retail plazas, big box stores, hotels and offices next to Robinson Town Centre, the Mall at Robinson and Settlers Ridge1. In practice, the commercial strip runs across the township line. Robinson's guide covers the malls themselves; this one covers what sits inside North Fayette's official boundary, which is how every listing on this site is assigned3.

Pizza leads with 7 listings, followed by bars and pubs (7), burgers (6) and sandwiches and delis (6)2.

Roads, colleges and offices

U.S. 22, U.S. 30 and I-376 (the Parkway West) all run through the township1. Pittsburgh Technical College and the Community College of Allegheny County's West Hills Center are on McKee Road, and the Park Lane office center has been here since 19891. In April 2014, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden spoke at the West Hills Center to praise its job training programs1. In January 2018, President Donald Trump visited H&K Equipment in the township1.

North Fayette borders Findlay, Robinson, Moon, Collier, Oakdale, South Fayette and McDonald, plus Robinson Township in Washington County1.
