The story
Jim "Big Jim" Bochicchio opened his place in 1977, tucked under the Parkway in the Run, the little pocket of Greenfield along Four Mile Run, to feed his neighbors. He added the dining room in 1983.
When Jim died in 1991, Gary Burdick, Blane Volovich and Jim's nephew Vito Bochicchio bought it, and they've left the menu mostly alone. The room is all wood paneling, glass block and sports memorabilia, and the oddly shaped bar was custom built by Don Algeri. Guy Fieri came through for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Order the giant stromboli, a calzone, a huge hoagie or the hot turkey sandwich, and plan on taking some home.
